Boppard am Rein, Germany where the 87th Infantry Division crossed over the Rhine River on the night of March 24, 1945.
Other crossings were made at Rhens and Brey.
The 87th Infantry Division Association visited here June 1996.

The 347th Regiment attempted and made crossings of the Rhine River March 25, 1945 - WWII.
After crossing, elements of K,L,M-347 entered the castle.
